WhatsApp UPI-Based Payment Features – Recently WhatsApp, a messenger app with over 1.5 billion user-base in 180 countries and over 200 million users in India rolls out its UPI-based payment features for Indian users. UPI-based payment features integration in WhatsApp have the capability to make another boom in digital payment.
Currently, this payment features only available for some users in Beta Version and it under testing process. This is the clear indication that WhatsApp is planning to launch payment feature very soon for their Indian users.

How to Use WhatsApp UPI-Based Payment Features?
Do you like sending pictures, videos, documents in WhatsApp? If yes, then it is very easy for you. You can access payment features in a chat window in the attachment menu section. In the attachment menu section, payment features available alongside gallery, documents, locations, camera, audio etc.
The best thing about this app is you don’t need to install any other app to use this payment features. You only need to keep your WhatsApp app updated to the latest version.
When a user clicks on payment, a window will open containing a disclaimer and the list of bank available with UPI. After selecting your bank and filling necessary information, you will be asked to create and set your 6 digits UPI Pin.
After successfully linking bank and setting your UPI pin, you need to enter only 6 digits UPI pin for every transaction you will make. You can change and recover UPI pin anytime like other UPI-based payments apps available in India.
